About UsMentoring:
Mentoring is less about providing an introduction of the aspiring writer to the publishing world, though it can be about that, and more about working through the final phases of rewriting a manuscript so that it’s ready to be submitted for publication. It’s about guiding the writer through the final rewrites of the manuscript, it’s about researching to find where and how best to pitch it, it’s about working out when a work is ready and it’s about learning how to write a great introductory email and synopsis. Here's a chance for you to work one-on-one with bestselling author, Justine Ettler. It may be that what you’re struggling with is a question of technique, POV or structure. It may be that you need to work on your voice or that your description falls flat or is flooded with adjectives. It may be that you need to do more to engage your reader in terms of plot, or a problem of characterisation. Genres available to mentor in include: Speculative Fiction, Dystopian Fiction, Experimental and Postmodern Fiction, Thriller, Memoir, and Travel Writing |
